Hello...and Welcome to My World....
About Me... The Near Future...
My name is Rachel Porges and I just graduated from Boston University's College of Communication. I majored in Public Relations. I am 22 years old and an Aries, for those who care. I tend to be really outgoing and friendly, and I love meeting new people and trying new things. I am starting to teach myself a little bit about wine, and I love to travel, particularly within the US. There is so much to see within our own country.

I am also a sports fanatic. As a Boston native, I grew up with the Sox in my blood, and I love going to Fenway to watch a game. There is nothing like it in the spring. But ice hockey is my favorite. I have season tickets to the BU Terriers games and I follow the NHL and AHL. Don't ask me which is my favorite team though...I can't tell you. I love following players stats and careers, especially former Terriers. It is amusing to watch the players that I used to see in the dining halls skating for the Edmonton Oilers or the Colorado Avalance.

Anyway, I am a native of Stoughton, MA, a typical suburb about 30 minutes south of Boston, and I have lived in the Boston area all my life..

What's next?
Well, I just accepted a position at PAN Communications in Andover, MA. I plan to get an apartment north of Boston as soon as possible. I am so excited to start my career at an energetic place such as PAN. I knew right away upon entering the offices for my interview that this was the type of place I wanted to work at. I hope I live up to their expectations! (I know I will.)

Me...on paper...
